Job Overview

We're a growing business looking for a proactive, organised Commercial Administrator to become a central part of our commercial operation. This is a broad, hands-on role covering sales administration, marketing content, reporting, and direct support to the Director — ideal for someone who takes initiative, enjoys variety, and wants to grow with the business.

This role has a clear long-term path: as we scale, we intend to build out our commercial function further, with real opportunity for this person to grow into a more senior commercial position alongside the business.

Responsibilities

Sales Administration

Managing client onboarding from first contact through to setup
Preparing and sending accurate, timely quotes
Maintaining CRM records and data hygiene — contact/lead tracking and pipeline updates
Supporting customer retention and renewal outreach alongside new client onboarding

Marketing & Content

Planning and creating social media content and campaigns (LinkedIn and other platforms)
Updating website content — basic CMS edits, blog posts, and SEO improvements
Running basic email marketing — newsletters and campaign follow-ups

Reporting & Insight

Producing sales and commercial reports for the Director
Monitoring competitor activity and market trends to feed into reporting and decision-making

Director Support

Managing the Director's diary and scheduling

Requirements

Strong initiative — comfortable making decisions and proposing ideas without needing constant direction
Someone who can hit the ground running and pick up new tools/processes quickly
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, able to juggle admin, marketing, and reporting workstreams
Confident written communication — for client-facing quotes/emails and for social/web content
Comfortable with data — CRM systems, spreadsheets, AI and pulling together clear reports
Prior experience in sales administration, marketing, or a similar commercial/coordinator role is required; a mix of both is a strong plus
Ambition — this role has a genuine path toward a more senior commercial position as the business grows
Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools and processes while maintaining a positive attitude
