Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the home. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating clean, welcoming environments. Previous experience in cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those seeking flexible working hours.

Duties

Cleaning and tidying designated areas within the home, to a professional standard
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and polishing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation
Restocking supplies such as toiletries or cleaning products as required
Washing windows, cleaning bathrooms and communal areas thoroughly
Assisting with laundry tasks when necessary
Organising cleaning schedules and ensuring all tasks are completed within allocated timeframes
Maintaining a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines

Qualifications

Previous experience in cleaning a residential home is desirable but not mandatory
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting professionally with residents
Ability to work independently and efficiently without supervision
Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning environments and client needs
Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment safety procedures
A friendly attitude and reliable work ethic are essential
