Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable dining experience. Previous restaurant experience is essential. A passion for food, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanour are key qualities we value. Applicants MUST be able to work evenings and weekends

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
Ensure all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, are adhered to at all times
Clear tables promptly and assist with setting up for service
Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Assist with basic food preparation or kitchen duties as required during quieter periods
Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including tables, cutlery, and glassware

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is mandatory
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
Familiarity with food preparation or kitchen experience is a plus
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
A proactive approach to upselling menu items to maximise sales potential

Pay: £8.00-£13.50 per hour
