Full job description

As an Associate Project Manager, you will utilise project management skills and methodologies to contribute effectively to the projects team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within defined scope, timeframes, and budget.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Overall accountability for all aspects of project delivery.
Management and Delivery Responsibility for Major Project Builds.
Ensuring that the functions are adhering to company processes and procedures
Planning the project and associated activities to a high degree - including
Highlight resourcing issues within the project and also conflicts with other projects
Work with functional areas to ensure schedule adherence
Working with the master planner
Demonstrate strong leadership skills to motivate, engage and evoke commitment into project teams
Present the project status to the senior management team on a monthly basis, including a full financial review.
Suggest and help to implement improvements to all project activities
Ensure every aspect of the project is considered with respect to the SMD Health and Safety Policy.
Use the company ERP system to manage and monitor project status and tasks.
There will be a need to travel to customer meetings, support onshore installations and commissioning and to undertake training to allow offshore visits to coordinate sea trials. In addition, there will be a need to visit suppliers to review progress.

What Skills and Qualifications do you need?

We are seeking a candidate with experience in using & maintaining a technical database

Candidates must have a strong customer focus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Candidates must be self-motivated with an ability to take full ownership of tasks and work with a good level of autonomy

Excellent organisation and time management skills

IFS, Autodesk and/or SharePoint experience would be desirable
