Full job description

Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)

The Hertford Car Company is a well-established independent used car dealership, and we’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Site Manager / Driver to join our growing team.

This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with vehicles and can work independently while maintaining high standards across the dealership.

Responsibilities:

Managing the day-to-day presentation and organisation of the dealership site.
Moving and parking vehicles safely around the forecourt.
Collecting and delivering vehicles to customers, suppliers and workshops.
Ensuring all vehicles are clean, presentable and correctly displayed.
Carrying out regular vehicle checks, including tyre pressures and fuel levels.
Coordinating vehicle movements for preparation, MOTs and servicing.
Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the forecourt and premises.
Assisting with general dealership duties as required.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence (essential).
Confident driving a wide range of vehicles, including automatic and manual.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous motor trade experience.
