Job Summary

No Visa (Cos) Sponsorship available. 3 shifts a week at 12-hours a shift. You will be working with a single client and therefore will not be expected to travel door-to-door to help multiple clients.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our vibrant care team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or home care settings, ensuring they receive respectful, personalized assistance that promotes their independence and well-being. Your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will help create a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives every day.

Responsibilities

Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, always prioritizing dignity and comfort
Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each person's needs and preferences
Maintain clear and open communication with residents, families, and the wider care team to ensure consistent, high-quality care
Use IT systems to update records, document care provided, and track progress accurately
Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines and reporting any concerns promptly
Engage in meaningful conversations and activities that encourage social interaction and mental stimulation

Qualifications

Experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to ensure clear understanding of care plans and instructions
Basic IT skills for maintaining digital records and documentation
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with residents or clients
Knowledge of developing or following care plans to deliver personalized support
A caring attitude combined with patience, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
