Street Patrol Community Safety Officer (Cover / Standby Work)

Location: Nottingham (In-person)
Job Type: Flexible Cover / Standby Contract
Pay: £12.71 per hour ( Enhanced rate of £13.50 for last minute cover)

Join Our Team as a Street Patrol Community Safety Officer!

Are you passionate about community safety, reducing crime, and making a real difference? My Local Bobby LTD is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Nottingham team as Street Patrol Community Safety Officer on a flexible cover basis.

This is a rewarding role for someone seeking occasional work and is ideal for those with other commitments looking to support safer neighbourhoods.

What You’ll Do

As a Community Safety Officer, you will:

Be a visible, trusted presence within the local community.
Build relationships with residents and local stakeholders to tackle anti-social behaviour and safety concerns.
Respond to incidents when required and liaise with police or other partners.
Gather community intelligence and provide reassurance to members of the public.
Support the community through engagement, empathy, and problem-solving.

About You

A confident communicator with a genuine interest in public service.
Reliable, proactive, and professional in your conduct.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Calm under pressure and committed to keeping communities safe.

Requirements

Valid SIA Frontline License
First Aid Certification
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a security-related role (preferred)

Desirable

Full UK Driving License
First Aid Certification
