Job description

We are looking for a skilled and professional self-employed Barber to join our friendly salon on a chair rental basis. This role is ideal for someone who values flexibility, independence, and pride in their craft while working in a busy, well-presented environment with strong footfall.

Qualifications, certifications, requirements

Essential

NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Barbering
Proven barbering experience in a salon or shop environment
Strong technical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Right to work in the UK

Desirable

2+ years’ barbering experience
Existing or growing client base

Behaviours

Experience

2 years’ experience

Confident in all aspects of barbering (cuts, fades, beards)

Responsibilities

Deliver high quality barbering services including cutting, styling, fades, and beard work
Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming experience for every client
Build, manage, and retain your own client base
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and professional presentation
Manage your own bookings, tools, and products
Work collaboratively with the wider salon team
Represent the salon brand professionally at all times
