Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop specialised skills in coffee preparation and customer engagement, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic, team-oriented setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to food safety standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations with a friendly attitude.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, including cleaning equipment and sanitising work surfaces regularly.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including giving correct change.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
Follow food safety regulations diligently to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff.

Experience

Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment helps deliver excellent service efficiently.
Skills in food preparation such as assembling sandwiches or snacks are beneficial but not mandatory.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
Strong time management skills are essential to prioritise tasks during busy periods and maintain service quality under pressure. This role offers an engaging environment where you can refine your barista skills while providing memorable experiences for our customers. We value enthusiasm, professionalism, and a positive attitude in our team members.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
