Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail. The successful applicant will be required to complete a DBS check.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette.
Manage the reception area, maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
Handle clerical duties including filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for various administrative tasks.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.

Skills

Previous office experience would be an advantage, with a background in administrative roles being highly desirable.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
knowledge of Emis web would be useful, but training can be given.
Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
Demonstrated organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong clerical experience to support daily operations efficiently.
