Location: Wakefield, hybrid

Working Hours: 08:30-17:00

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Sales Ledger Assistant to join our team. This is a full administrative position, providing essential support to the wider finance team. The role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cash posting and allocation, including accessing bank statements and preparing both GBP and foreign currency transactions
Logging claims accurately on the internal portal
Texting up accounts to ensure records are up to date and accurate
Raising credit notes and invoices in a timely manner
Managing both manual and automated billing processes
Providing general administrative support to the wider team

About You

Strong administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail
Confident handling financial data and working with numbers
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Previous experience in a finance or accounts role is desirable but not essential
