Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Night Porter to provide exceptional guest services and ensure the smooth operation of our hotel during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, and have previous experience in hotel or guest services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a welcoming environment, delivering comfort and security to our guests throughout the night.

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist guests arriving during the night shift, ensuring a warm and professional experience
Handle guest enquiries, reservations, and requests efficiently and courteously
Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV, conducting regular patrols of the premises, and ensuring all areas are secure
Manage administrative tasks such as logging arrivals and departures, and maintaining accurate records
Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents, liaising with relevant authorities when necessary
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and communal spaces during your shift
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any guest concerns or facility issues
Assist with the setting up of functions and conferences for the followign day
Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with company policies

Requirements

Proven experience in hospitality or guest services, preferably within a hotel
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently during night hours with minimal supervision
Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required
A professional demeanour with a friendly attitude towards guests and colleagues

Hours:
4 nights over 7 per week
10.30/11pm - 6.30am/7am

Must have own transport due to hours of work and location.

Pay: £13.75 per hour
