Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Receptionist, where your energetic and organized approach will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate patient appointments, and ensure a smooth flow of daily clinic activities. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that promotes efficient healthcare delivery and exceptional patient experiences.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and guiding them through check-in procedures
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using our practice management software
Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and personal data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff or departments
Manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized patient records
Assist with billing processes by processing payments and explaining billing procedures to patients
Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other staff to facilitate seamless clinic operations

Requirements

Proven office experience with a strong background in administrative tasks
Previous experience working in a healthcare or medical office setting is preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Proficiency in office software applications such as MS Office Suite or practice management systems
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations at all times
