Overview of the role:

An exciting opportunity within Nirvana Spa for a unique role in Pulse 8. Do you thrive on educating, motivating and coaching others towards a change in lifestyle and fitness? Are you able to adapt your passion for fitness whilst also taking a holistic approach to exercise?

We have 1 full-time (40 hours) and 1 part-time (28 hours) available. Please specify on your application your preference.

A Fitness Coach will enjoy working with people, possess a friendly and outgoing personality, be sensitive to individuals needs whilst working with clients of all ages and physical abilities. This role requires a high level of professionalism which meets the exceptional standards of Nirvana Spa.

Subject to a qualifying period and the required industry qualifications there will also be the opportunity to arrange client Personal Training (PT) Sessions, using our facilities, outside of your normal working hours.

What you’ll do:

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

Deliver a high level of member/visitor interaction during gym floor supervision hours
Plan and deliver high quality small and large group exercise sessions
Deliver high quality and motivating 1:1 sessions, ensuring their individual needs and goals are met
Ensure the high standards of cleanliness in the environment are maintained by completing daily/weekly tasks
Ensure a high standard of Health & Safety (H&S) is maintained, by completing daily and weekly checks
Carry out daily tasks including brand standards checks
You will be required to perform club open and close procedures as part of a balanced rota pattern
Be available to work a varied shift pattern, consisting of a balance between early, late and day shifts plus alternate weekends
Carry out supervision and coaching within the Dead Sea Salt Therapy (DSST) Pool at Nirvana Spa.
Be flexible as per the needs of the business

Who you’ll be:

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) qualifications such as Sports Therapy, GP Referral and Postural Analysis
Experience within a customer service focused role
Passion for interaction and customer service
Highly motivated with the ability to inspire and motivate others
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
A proactive attitude
Confidence of working with clients of all ages and physical abilities
Be able to work on your own and as part of a team.
Energy and enthusiasm
The ability to be a role model for our members and demonstrate this lifestyle whilst at work.
Excellent communication skills
Use of Microsoft Word/Excel and Outlook
Minimum Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification (Level 3 advantageous)
