Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Carpentry Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of carpentry and construction tasks, supporting skilled tradespeople in delivering high-quality projects. This role offers valuable experience across multiple aspects of building and renovation work, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop their skills in the construction industry. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to learn and contribute to diverse projects.

Duties

loading out materials
cleaning out flats after carpenters completed the works
Performing heavy lifting of materials such as timber, kitchen
Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and organised to maintain safety standards
Following instructions from supervisors to ensure project specifications are met efficiently

Experience

Previous experience in carpentry or general construction is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Familiarity with fabrication, assembly, and use of hand tools is advantageous
Knowledge of power tools, joinery techniques, roofing practices, plumbing, masonry, or electrical work is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks on site
Good organisational skills with attention to safety protocols during all phases of work
