Full job description

Job Description:

As a production worker at Browns Confectionery, you will be making a range of chocolate, learning each process from start to finish. The role is varied and requires adaptability. Our normal working schedule is 9am-6pm Monday- Friday .As a seasonal business, the demand can vary at different points throughout the year. Therefore, a flexible attitude to working hours is essential. There is opportunity to learn a variety of skills and work in several areas, depending on the needs of the company, these including tik tok lives,packaging and unloading stock.

Responsibilities and duties:

Learning and understanding the importance of using tempered chocolate in making all chocolate creations
Learning how to operate the chocolate tempering machine
Using moulds to create chocolate bar outer shells
Preparing fillings to be piped into chocolate bars
Filling chocolate bars
Packaging products according to orders received
Working with a team to meet quantity expectations
Upholding workplace to food safety standards
Preparing, maintaining, and cleaning all equipment
Combatable with doing tik tok lives

Entry requirements:

There are no formal academic entry requirements, but a creative/artistic background is preferred
Previous experience: chocolatier, confectionery, baking
General knowledge of food safety
Strong attention to detail
Fast and hard working
Steady hands
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Good English
