Full job description

We are seeking a Co-ordinator to join our growing Management Team here at i-grow care and support. We provide Supported living, enabling and respite services to vulnerable people and work with them to develop and deliver creative and personalised care and support solutions. We care about the people who use our services and work very hard to ensure they receive the services they deserve. Our philosophy rests on the principle of "Seeing the person within". The role will involve:

· Responsibility for supporting the Management Team to maintain fully operational and well led Services.

· Ensuring all Service Users have a live care/support plan and receive an individualised and fitting support service that enables them to live their lives as independently as possible and in accordance with their needs, dreams and goals.

· Ensuring that all Support Workers understand their role and are given the support they require to deliver excellent support services. This includes provision of Supervisions, Appraisals and mentoring as appropriate.

· Ensuring the environment of all Service Users and Support Workers is safe. Risks to all are assessed, up-to-date and accurate records are maintained securely and confidentially, and Service Users and their possessions are safeguarded from abuse and neglect.

· Recruiting, managing, inspiring, leading and developing all staff to ensure outstanding service delivery which is flexible, consistent and always reliable.

· Responsible for providing a highly responsive on-call service at least every third week as part of the Management Team.

· Supporting the Management Team to produce solutions to operational concerns or problems, in order too, continually improve upon the services that i-grow deliver.

· Maintaining close working relationships with key professionals as appropriate.

· Acting, at all times, as an ambassador for the organisation.

· Assisting or where possible arranging rotas, ensuring that teams are adequately staffed and prepared to provide flexibility and cover any changes through sickness, holiday and training.

Hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

· Day shift 08.30 – 16.30 plus ‘on call’ 1:3
