As Plymouth Community Homes continues to grow, we're looking for compassionate, customer-focused individuals to join our Customer Experience team. If you enjoy solving problems, supporting customers, and developing your skills in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

As a Repairs Planning Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the high-quality service they deserve. Working closely with our Repairs Team and Contact Centre colleagues, you'll help coordinate repair appointments, manage planning activities, and act as a key link between customers and operatives.

No two days are the same. You'll need to balance multiple priorities, communicate effectively with a wide range of people, and remain calm and professional in a fast-moving environment. In return, you'll gain valuable experience, ongoing support, and opportunities to further develop your customer service career within a growing organisation.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting the smooth delivery of our repairs service through effective planning and coordination.
Building positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and contractors.
Communicating updates clearly and empathetically to customers.
Managing appointments, schedules, and administrative processes to ensure excellent service delivery.
Working collaboratively across teams to resolve issues and improve customer outcomes.
Contributing to performance targets while maintaining a customer-first approach.

We're Looking For Someone Who

Has experience in a customer-focused environment, ideally within a Contact Centre or service-based setting.
Demonstrates genuine empathy and compassion when supporting customers.
Stays calm, organised, and professional when working under pressure.
Can confidently manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
Enjoys problem-solving and finding positive solutions for customers.
Is motivated to learn, grow, and develop their career in customer service.
Thrives as part of a collaborative, high-performing team.
