Full job description

This position is a part-time daytime cleaning role based in South Kirkby. The working hours are 10:00am – 12:00pm, every Thursday (2 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

Carry out cleaning duties within a commercial office environment, including offices, communal areas, kitchens, washrooms, corridors, and reception areas.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene by disinfecting desks, work surfaces, door handles, and other high-touch areas throughout the premises.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise floors and surfaces in line with cleaning specifications and schedules.
Empty waste bins and dispose of general and recycling waste in accordance with site procedures.
Replenish consumables including hand soap, paper towels, toilet rolls, and bin liners within washroom and kitchen facilities.
Ensure communal areas remain clean, tidy, and presentable for staff and visitors at all times.
Maintain cleaning equipment and report any low stock levels of chemicals or consumables.
Report maintenance issues, spillages, safety hazards, or security concerns promptly to management.
Communicate professionally and politely with staff, visitors, and management when required.

Experience & Skills

Previous cleaning experience within office or commercial environments is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently while following cleaning schedules and procedures.
Good attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and professional environment.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and site contacts where required.
