Job Title: Catering Assistant
Location: Pugh’s Garden Village Radyr.
Employment Type: Two Positions Available, 1 x 37.5 hours contract, 1 x 14 hours contract
Salary: up to £12.71 depending on age
Reporting To: Catering Supervisor / Catering Manager

About Us:
At Pugh’s Garden Village, we’re more than just plants - we offer a vibrant, welcoming environment where customers can relax and enjoy delicious food and drinks in our on-site café. We’re looking for friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Catering/Hospitality Assistants to help deliver excellent service and a great experience to every visitor.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve food and beverages in a café/tearoom environment
Greet customers in a warm, professional manner and take orders accurately
Operate the till and handle payments
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the café
Assist with food preparation and presentation
Clear tables, wash dishes, and restock items as needed
Support the team during busy periods and help with occasional special events or later openings
Follow food safety and health & safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or customer service is desirable
A friendly, positive attitude and a passion for providing great customer service
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as required
Willingness to learn and take on varied tasks within the café environment
