Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Friday Changeover Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining a luxury holiday property in Porthleven. Hours will generally be between 10am and 230pm depending on departure numbers. The changeover will need to be carried out to the highest standards, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for our visitors. Previous experience in changeovers, or hotel housekeeping required.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean and changeover a holiday property on Fridays, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and sanitising surfaces
Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and refreshments to meet guest expectations
Ensure any health and safety or fire safety forms are filled out before guest check-in
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Maintain a high level of organisation and cleanliness in storage areas and housekeeping carts
Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with additional cleaning duties as required to support the overall cleanliness of the premises

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, or changeovers is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role
Knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures is advantageous

This position is ideal for someone looking for a part time position in between school hours.

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
