Full job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front of House Team Member. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong ability to understand and respond to customer needs. This role includes greeting customers, taking orders, serving ice cream, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service
Handle payments and process transactions accurately
Prepare and serve menu items with care and consistency
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop
Follow opening and closing procedures based on shift requirements
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
Work collaboratively with team members to enhance service delivery and resolve any issues

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience preferred but not essential (full training provided)
Knowledge of food safety and allergies is an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent spoken English
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Able to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £8.00-£12.72 per hour
