Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Machinist and Cutter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machining and cutting techniques, with additional skills in warehouse operations and sewing. This role involves precise craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within a dynamic environment. The successful applicant will contribute to the production of high-quality products, ensuring all specifications are met with professionalism and accuracy.

Duties

Operate various machining equipment to cut and shape materials according to detailed specifications
Perform precise measurements and adjustments to ensure accuracy of finished products
Utilise sewing skills for assembling or finishing components as required
Maintain organisation and cleanliness within the workspace, adhering to safety standards
Assist with inventory management and warehouse organisation, including stock replenishment and storage
Inspect finished work for quality assurance, making necessary adjustments or rework if needed
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimise workflow
Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly

Experience

Proven experience as a Machinist and Cutter in a manufacturing or workshop environment
Strong knowledge of machining tools, cutting techniques, and measurement instruments
Warehouse experience is desirable, demonstrating familiarity with stock handling and organisation
Sewing experience is advantageous, particularly in assembling or finishing textile components
Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately
Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail is essential
