Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness standards, and engaging with patrons in a friendly and efficient manner. Previous bar experience is preferred, along with strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver drinks promptly
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Ensure compliance alcohol licensing regulations at all times
Manage cash register operations, process payments accurately using cash or card systems
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere while promoting specials or upcoming events
Monitor guest behaviour responsibly to uphold safety standards and prevent over-serving

Qualifications

Proven experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bartending roles within restaurants or bars
Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
Excellent time management skills to manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
A friendly personality with a proactive approach to customer service

Cocktail making/mixology experience is a bonus but training can be given.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
