The Maintenance Manager plays a key role in ensuring our hotel operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest brand standards. This role is responsible for maintaining all hotel facilities, leading the maintenance team, and ensuring a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee day-to-day maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces

· Ensure prompt response to maintenance requests in line with IHG brand standards

· Manage preventative maintenance programmes

· Lead, train, and develop the maintenance team

· Ensure full compliance with UK health & safety regulations and fire safety standards

· Conduct regular inspections and maintain compliance records

· Manage maintenance budgets and control costs effectively

· Coordinate contractors and supplier relationships

· Support refurbishments and continuous improvement projects

Key Skills & Experience

· Proven experience in hotel or facilities maintenance management

· Strong technical knowledge (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)

· Good understanding of UK compliance and safety regulations

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· Excellent problem-solving ability
