Full job description

What you’ll be doing:

Working Monday to Friday on a 3 shift rotation basis (6.00am-2.00pm, 2.00pm-10.00pm, 10.00pm-6.00pm).

The role will involve working as part of a team; requiring excellent communication and willing to take part in problem solving and continuous improvement exercises. Flexibility with a willingness to learn and embrace new skills will also form a fundamental requirement of the role. Duties will include:

· Ensure all work is carried out safely.

· Ensure all equipment is in a safe and serviceable condition.

· Enforce and promote safety and housekeeping in your area of work.

· To report safety and hazard faults.

· Ensure customer quality standards are maintained at all times, including board/paper line up, starch viscosity checks, temperature and delamination checks.

· Ensure a rapid response to machine failures and breakdowns and inform relevant departments (Team leader & maintenance).

· Keep Shift Team Leader informed of work progress.

· Ensure cleaning schedules are rigidly adhered to and meet the agreed schedule (daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly checks).

· Employ continuous improvement techniques and share best practice with colleagues.

· Demonstrate flexibility to cover absence and sickness as required.
