Full job description

Part time 0.4 FTE Teacher- working pattern Thursday and Friday.
Temporary contract until 2027.

The Governors of Belmont C of E Primary School wish to appoint a highly motivated and passionate teacher to join our Belmont Family. We are seeking a professional with the skills, enthusiasm, energy and commitment to teach primary aged children. We are a friendly and happy school with a strong Christian ethos.

The successful candidate will become part of a supportive team and dedicated staff, who have high expectations of behaviour and learning and demonstrate a caring attitude towards our childrens academic and personal development.

We are looking for a teacher who:

Is passionate about teaching and enjoys working with children
Has recent effective practice of teaching primary aged children
Is committed to our Christian vision and ethos
Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum
Demonstrates strong classroom practice with high standards of teaching and learning to motivate, value and nurture all children
Has very high expectations of all children and is focused on academic achievement and progress
Has excellent behaviour and pastoral management skills
Can work well as part of a team and is willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
Is highly motivated with a positive I can-do attitude
