Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commercial and Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within commercial and industrial settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Candidates must be willing to work away from home on occasions, be detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial and industrial environments
Troubleshoot electrical issues using specialised tools and diagnostic equipment
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and maintenance
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and electrical codes
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent future failures
Document work performed and report any issues or safety concerns promptly
Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work
Strong electrical experience with a thorough understanding of wiring systems, circuit breakers, transformers, and control panels
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to electrical installations
