Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our organisation for our new opening restaurant, Club and pub . The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organisational, and management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and optimise business performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, capable of managing multiple departments including retail, sales, and merchandising. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate effective communication across diverse teams and clients. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in driving growth, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of the organisation’s operations, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Supervise and support departmental managers in retail management, sales management, merchandising, and administrative functions.
Develop and implement business strategies to increase sales, optimise merchandising displays, and enhance customer experience.
Oversee team management activities including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
Maintain effective communication across all levels of staff and with external stakeholders via excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills.
Monitor financial performance, prepare reports for senior leadership, and ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
Organise schedules, manage time effectively to meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks efficiently.
Ensure the organisation adheres to health & safety regulations and maintains high standards of cleanliness and safety in all operational areas.
Represent the organisation at industry events or community engagements as required.

Requirements

Proven management experience with a background in supervising teams within retail or sales environments.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork.
Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly advantageous.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative functions.
Proficient in time management with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Previous experience in retail management or similar roles is preferred.
Exceptional phone etiquette combined with professional demeanour at all times.
Organised approach to work with strong administrative experience to support operational needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual eager to lead a thriving organisation towards continued success through strategic vision and effective team management.
