Sales Operations Executive

Reading | Hybrid | Full time | Permanent

Select Car Leasing is the UK’s largest leasing broker, with a nationwide presence, high-profile sporting partnerships and a strong commitment to recognizing, rewarding and engaging its people.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys talking to people, solving problems and making a real difference to the customer experience.

You’ll be there for our customers throughout their leasing journey - from order through to delivery and beyond. You’ll take ownership of their questions, keep them informed and work with teams across the business to find the right solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls, emails and portal queries, providing updates and resolving issues within agreed service levels.
Taking ownership of customer queries from initial contact through to resolution, keeping customers informed every step of the way.
Communicating order updates, delivery information and outstanding actions clearly and proactively.
Acting as the first point of contact for customer concerns, complaints, potential cancellations and negative experiences, handling difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.
Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date, ensuring clear notes, actions and outcomes are recorded for a consistent customer experience.
Working closely with Sales, Finance, Administration and operational teams to find answers and resolve customer queries.
Identifying and escalating concerns relating to customer vulnerability, fraud or potential mis-selling in line with company procedures.
Looking for opportunities to improve the customer journey, sharing ideas around processes, communication, FAQs and customer touchpoints.
Ensuring all customer interactions are handled in line with FCA requirements, company policies and our customer service standards.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who is confident, personable and genuinely customer-focused.

You’ll ideally have:

Previous experience in a phone-based customer service role.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
A calm and professional approach, particularly when handling challenging conversations.
Strong organisation and attention to detail.
Good IT and CRM skills.
A positive, solutions-focused attitude.
The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.

Experience in leasing, automotive, finance or operations would be beneficial, but it’s not essential. We’ll provide the training you need to understand our products and processes.
