Room Leader – Reading (RG1 3GD)
Term-time only – 39 weeks per year
Working hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm

About Us
At Dingley’s Promise, we support children aged 0–5 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to develop key skills through play in a nurturing and inclusive environment. We also work closely with families, offering guidance, training, and support, while advising mainstream settings on how to better include children with SEND.

About the Role
We are looking for a Room Leader to join our team in Reading. Under the guidance of the Centre Manager or Deputy, you’ll take a lead role in the planning, day-to-day running, and ongoing development of our sessions. You’ll help create a positive, inclusive space for children with SEND, while guiding and supporting a team of Early Years Practitioners.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who is:

A confident and compassionate leader with experience in Early Years
Passionate about inclusive practice and supporting children with SEND
Able to build strong relationships with families, listen empathetically, and offer reassurance and guidance without judgement
Skilled in engaging parents and carers as valued partners in their child’s development
Committed to working closely with colleagues and attending team meetings
Qualified at NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (or equivalent), or working towards it as a minimum
