Overview
We are seeking a talented and professional Hairdresser and Beautician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for beauty and grooming, with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise your skills in hairdressing, beauty treatments, and client care while contributing to the overall success of our salon. Applicants should be enthusiastic, well-presented, and committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism.

Duties

Providing a range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments.
Performing beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, and skincare procedures.
Delivering excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalised advice.
Managing front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and maintaining the salon’s organisation.
Mentoring junior staff or apprentices to develop their skills and ensure consistent service quality.
Upselling products and services to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Assisting with store management tasks such as stock control, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health & safety standards.
Building strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalised care.

Qualifications

Proven experience in hairdressing and beautician roles, with relevant certifications or licences.
Skills in barbering, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and colour techniques are highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
Experience in store management or front desk operations is advantageous.
Ability to mentor colleagues or trainees to foster a positive team environment.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
A professional appearance combined with a friendly demeanour and strong interpersonal skills. Candidates should be enthusiastic about continuing professional development within the beauty industry and committed to delivering outstanding client experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £12.21-£20.00 per hour
