Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical knowledge, and leadership qualities to ensure properties are well-maintained, compliant, and optimally utilised. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in building management, electrical or mechanical systems, and project coordination to contribute to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Oversee the management of residential and commercial properties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Coordinate maintenance activities, including electrical, mechanical, and structural repairs, ensuring timely completion.
Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, providing clear instructions and ensuring quality standards are met.
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and extend asset lifespan.
Manage budgets, procurement of supplies, and scheduling of repairs or upgrades.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including conducting regular inspections.
Prepare reports on property conditions, maintenance activities, and operational issues for senior management.
Utilise project management skills to plan renovation or refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other building systems.
Lead by example in fostering a professional environment with excellent customer service standards.

Skills

Proven management experience with strong leadership qualities.
Extensive project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
Technical knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
Experience supervising teams or contractors within a property or facilities management context.
Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining building systems.
Strong understanding of maintenance procedures across electrical, mechanical, and structural disciplines.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams essential for system diagnostics.
Fluency in English is required for clear communication with team members, contractors, and tenants. This role is ideal for a proactive professional eager to utilise their technical expertise alongside leadership capabilities within a dynamic property management environment.

Pay: £20,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
