Full job description

Location: Hatchlands Primary School, Redhill
Start Date: July 2026 (Ready for September 2026)
Hours: 25 hours per week in term time, 07:15 - 09:00 and 15:00-18:00, Monday-Friday. Term time position only.
Starting Salary: £14.25–£14.50 per hour

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic childcare professional ready to lead your own Club?

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing organisation that puts play at the heart of everything we do. We believe in the power of play, and we’re looking for a leader who share that passion — inspiring their teams, supporting families, and helping children to thrive.

What you’ll do:

Lead and manage the daily running of a fun, vibrant, and safe out-of-school club.
Support and supervise a team of dedicated Playworkers.
Plan and deliver exciting play opportunities based on children’s interests.
Build strong partnerships with children, families, schools, and your team.
Ensure high standards of safeguarding, inclusion, and care across the Club.
Take part in children’s play — from messy art to high-energy games!

You’ll need:

Ideally, a Level 3 qualification in Playwork, Childcare, or equivalent. However, this is not a deal-breaker
At least one year’s experience in a senior or leadership role.
A minimum of two years’ experience working with children aged 4–11.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted Welfare Requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisation skills.
Confidence, creativity, and a hands-on approach to play.
