Have a minimum of 2 years' mortgage advising experience
Hold CeMAP or equivalent qualifications

Duties

Analyse clients’ financial situations to determine suitable mortgage options
Advise clients on available mortgage products, rates, and terms
Prepare and submit mortgage applications on behalf of clients
Liaise with lenders, estate agents, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth transactions
Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions and transactions
Keep up-to-date with market trends, lending criteria, and regulatory requirements
Develop and expand a network of potential clients through marketing and referral strategies
Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards within the financial services sector

Qualifications

Proven experience as a mortgage broker 2 years preferably
CeMAP Qualification
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong sales skills and the ability to generate your own leads
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development
Knowledge of current lending regulations and industry best practices is desirable
