£24,420–£28,000 Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission

About the Role
We are looking for a confident, friendly and motivated Sales & Customer Engagement Advisor to join our team in a newly created role.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with people, building strong business relationships and proactively generating new opportunities through outbound sales activity. You'll be responsible for developing new business, nurturing existing client relationships, and working closely with our bookings team to convert enquiries and opportunities into confirmed training bookings.
We are particularly interested in candidates with previous outbound sales, telesales or business development experience. Knowledge of the construction, plant, utilities or training sectors would be a significant advantage.

With training centres in Coventry, Milton Keynes, Leeds and Norwich, alongside nationwide training delivery, we support thousands of learners and businesses each year. You'll be representing a trusted service that helps businesses remain compliant, develop their workforce and meet industry requirements.
What You'll Be Doing
- Proactively contacting businesses to generate new sales opportunities and training bookings
- Identifying and developing new business relationships
- Building strong relationships with both new and existing customers
- Re-engaging previous customers and securing repeat business
- Following up warm leads and enquiries generated through our website and marketing activities
- Promoting our full range of training courses and services
- Managing your own sales pipeline and daily call activity
- Updating customer information and activity within our CRM systems (Salesforce and Vortal)
- Working closely with the bookings team to coordinate and confirm training courses
- Managing the customer journey from initial contact through to booking confirmation
- Maintaining excellent customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience in outbound sales, telesales, business development or a similar customer-focused sales role
- Confidence making outbound calls and engaging professionally with businesses
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage your own workload and sales activity with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- A positive, proactive and self-motivated approach
- A genuine desire to achieve results and contribute to business growth
Desirable
- Experience working within the construction, plant, utilities or training sectors
- Knowledge of accredited training courses and workforce compliance requirements
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms

Salary & Earnings
- Basic Salary: £24,420–£28,000 (depending on experience)
- Uncapped commission paid on bookings generated
- Additional incentives for new business development
- Realistic On-Target Earnings (OTE): £35,000–£40,000+
- High performers will have the opportunity to exceed OTE

Additional Information
- Office-based role located in Ashby-de-la-Zouch
- Due to the rural location, own transport is required
- Potential for hybrid working (1–2 days per week from home) after a successful probation period (typically 3–6 months)
