Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chef to run our new enterprise. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong background in kitchen operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee food preparation, manage kitchen staff. The Chef will play a pivotal role in maintaining food safety standards and fostering a positive team atmosphere, contributing to the overall success of our hospitality establishment.

Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery of meals
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service operations
Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and cleanliness to uphold health standards

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience with team management responsibilities
Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
Experience in menu development and culinary innovation is desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience serving customers or working within hospitality is advantageous
