Be part of something amazing! Our fabulous clinics in Bedford are searching for a Part Time Clinic Receptionist/Administrator who is a vibrant, motivated individual to join our incredible team!

Shift pattern:

Tuesday: 3:45pm- 8:30pm (4hrs 45mins)

Fridays: 7:45am - 1:45pm (6hrs)

Total : 10hrs 45mins

Salary: Starting £12.75

Start Date: ASAP

We’re looking for an outstanding experienced Receptionist/Administrator to join the clinic reception team at our Goldington Road clinic in Bedford on a part time/ permanent basis.

Back + Body is an award-winning, forward-thinking Musculoskeletal Clinic with six locations — two in Northampton, one in Towcester, two in Bedford and Milton Keynes.

Our team of 50 includes Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Sports Massage Therapists, Women’s Health Physios, Injection Therapists, Independent Prescribers, Sports Medicine Consultants, and our fantastic reception team.

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced receptionist/administrator to start ASAP with 4 weeks of training.

The role requires at least 10.75 hours per week, flexibility for holiday and sickness cover, one evening shift (until 8:30 pm). You’ll be the first point of contact for patients and support staff with various administrative tasks in a friendly, fast-paced team.

About You

You must have proven reception (at least one year) and administrative experience in a busy environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a friendly, helpful attitude. You should be empathetic, able to calm anxious people, genuinely interested in others, and an engaging conversationalist. A big smile, welcoming and calm demeanour, and the ability to prioritise, multitask, and work well under pressure are essential. You should also demonstrate a confident, professional manner and be flexible to provide holiday and sickness cover when needed.

For this role, you’ll need strong IT skills, excellent attention to detail, and previous experience in a busy reception or administrative setting. Proficiency using email, spreadsheets and online portals is essential, along with reliability and excellent organisational skills.

You may have experience in other roles eg: Administrator, Secretary, Front of House, PA, Customer Services
