Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated FOH (Front of House) Team Members to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic restaurant environment, delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess strong communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and ensure they have a memorable dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring prompt service
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions and resolving any issues promptly
Upsell menu items and specials to maximise sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting the kitchen team as needed
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required
A positive attitude with a passion for delivering excellent guest service
Experience in serving, culinary arts, or kitchen operations is a plus but not essential
