Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals through personalised instruction and support. This role involves working closely with students to enhance their understanding of various subjects, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence.

Job Profile

We are seeking practising Muslims who are eager to work in a gender-segregated environment, abiding by appropriate Islamic attire
Please note, congregational prayers will take place throughout the day, and all tutors must come prepared for prayer appropriately
Tutors are expected to be faith-practicing role models, embodying Islamic principles and acting upon the teachings of the Qur'an & Sunnah

Responsibilities

Provide small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop effective learning strategies.
Create engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and student interests.
Educate students on subject matter while promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, including those with special educational needs.

Skills

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and engage students.
Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable.
Ability to educate and motivate students in a supportive manner.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others learn.
Strong organisational skills to manage lesson plans and track student progress effectively.
(Optional) SEN Experience Desirable
(Optional) Qualified Teacher
