Full job description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector for DAY shifts to ensure the highest standards of product quality within our manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with quality assurance protocols, conducting inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about quality control and process optimisation to contribute to our organisation's success.

Duties

Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of products and components to verify compliance with specifications.
Utilise specialised measurement tools and equipment to perform precise analysis and assessments.
Document inspection results accurately, maintaining detailed records for traceability and reporting purposes.
Identify and report non-conformities or defects, collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions.

Experience

Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to operate measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards confidently.
Good communication skills, capable of documenting findings clearly and collaborating with team members effectively.

Working hours

8am - 4.45pm Monday - Thursday

8am - 12.30pm Friday
