About Craigie’s

Craigie’s is a family-run farm and visitor destination near Edinburgh, built around seasonal experiences, great food, and authentic countryside fun. The business comprises a working farm, farm shop & deli and a café situated in the beautiful countryside between Queensferry and Edinburgh.

What we are looking for

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and hard working individuals who enjoy interacting with others and providing an exceptional service. Previous experience within a high volume retail or hospitality environment is preferred. Being barista trained is an added bonus. If you have great communication skills, enjoy working as part of a team and have a can-do attitude then this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities

To deliver 100% customer satisfaction and product quality at all times.
Be knowledgeable on all products served and be able to inform customers of the ingredients when required.
Ensure full compliance of all required hygiene and health & safety standards.
To carry out operating procedures as set by the management team and adhere to the standards and rules as set out in the Craigie's Staff Handbook.
To carry out duties of the department as instructed, e.g. daily, weekly cleaning tasks, temperature records etc.
Undertake training offered.
Contributing to a positive work environment.

This is a seasonal position with a variable shift pattern, across the 7 days that the cafe is open. Cafe hours are from 8.30 to 5.30 with occasional training sessions in the evening. Preferred shift patterns will be discussed at interview.
