Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Receptionist / Property Administrator to join our team at Outset — a vibrant business community built around collaboration, growth and connection.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining front-of-house duties, property administration, and involvement in events, marketing, café operations and community engagement. No two days are the same, and you’ll play a key role in helping create the welcoming, energetic environment that makes Outset such a great place to work.
We’re looking for someone who will truly become part of our community, take ownership of their role and help drive both Outset and the wider business forward. This role offers genuine opportunities for progression, with the potential to grow into a more senior or managerial position over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and welcoming reception service that reflects the Outset brand
- Act as the first point of contact for tenants, clients and visitors
- Build positive relationships within our business community
- Handle tenant queries and escalate where necessary
- Manage incoming and outgoing post in line with virtual office regulations
- Support day-to-day building management and report issues promptly
- Assist with compliance tasks (fire alarms, emergency lighting, legionella checks)
- Carry out general administrative duties (scanning, filing, updating records)
- Liaise with contractors and assist with sourcing quotes
- Support café operations when required
- Assist with social media content and marketing materials
- Help organise and run onsite networking events and community activities
- Assist in managing administrative operations across the wider property portfolio
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a receptionist, admin, or customer-facing role preferred
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent customer service and professional manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A positive, proactive “can-do” attitude
- Someone who enjoys working with people and being part of a team-focused environment
