Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy their experience while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be friendly, efficient, and capable of working in a fast-paced setting, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome customers, take orders, and provide prompt, attentive service.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks in line with venue
standards.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including surfaces, equipment, and glassware.
Handle card transactions accurately using the POS system.
Monitor customer behaviour and adhere to licensing laws, including responsible alcohol service.
Restock bar supplies, change kegs, and ensure displays are tidy and well-presented.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver smooth service during busy periods.
Follow health & safety, hygiene, and security procedures at all times.
Support setup and close-down duties, including stock counts where required.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Previous bar, hospitality, or customerfacing experience.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Desirable:

Knowledge of wine, beer styles, and drink preparation.
Understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health
regulations
