Church Lane Dental in Stafford is Recruiting for an Excellent Dental Receptionist to help answer the telephone and look after patients!

We are Staffordshire's Highest Rated Dental Practice and Offer the Full Range of Dental Care including Veneers, Composite Bonding, Orthodontics & Implants!

Job Summary

Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Receptionist, where your energetic and welcoming presence will set the tone for a positive patient experience. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will contribute to a friendly, efficient environment that promotes patient satisfaction and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize clinic flow and reduce wait times.
Answer incoming calls promptly, providing clear information and directing inquiries appropriately.
Maintain accurate patient records, update personal details, and ensure confidentiality at all times.
Handle administrative duties such as processing payments, insurance claims, and appointment confirmations.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure all patient needs are met promptly and effectively.
Keep the reception area tidy, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to support daily operations.

Requirements

Previous office experience or administrative experience is highly desirable to ensure smooth handling of front-desk duties.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that puts patients at ease.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing schedules and records accurately.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office or similar programs.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
