Full job description

General Maintenance Assistant

We are a family-run property development and management business looking for a reliable and hardworking General Maintenance Assistant to join us.

Ideal for a first job. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to learn a wide range of building and maintenance skills while working alongside experienced tradespeople.

Areas of duties include: Torpoint, Millbrook, Plymouth and Falmouth.

Duties include:

Assisting with general maintenance and repair work.
Lifting and moving materials.
Cleaning and keeping property's tidy.
Supporting the maintenance team and other trades as required
Painting, basic repairs, property maintenance, and occasional renovation work

What we're looking for:

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Able to work well as part of a team
Positive attitude and good work ethic
Preferable to have own transport to work
Full-time position
Monday to Friday
8-hour working days
Opportunity to learn all aspects of the building trades
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience (details available upon enquiry)
