Full job description

Service Administrator (Plumbing & Heating)

We are a well-established Plumbing & Heating company looking for an experienced Administration Assistant to join our busy office team.

This is a key role within the business, ensuring our service department runs efficiently by coordinating engineers, organising parts and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduling service, repair and maintenance appointments for our engineers.
Liaising with customers to arrange appointments and provide updates.
Ordering, tracking and checking parts required for engineers.
Coordinating with suppliers to ensure materials are available when required.
Managing engineers' daily diaries and responding to changes in workload.
Raising and processing job paperwork.
Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries.
General office administration and providing support to the wider team.

Essential Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

Previous administration experience within the Plumbing & Heating, Gas, Building Services or Facilities Management industry.
Experience coordinating engineers or managing service diaries.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
A confident and professional telephone manner.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with customers, engineers and suppliers.
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using scheduling or job management software.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

About the Role

This is a full-time office-based position at our offices in Walmer.
