Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Maintenance Person to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills while demonstrating leadership in maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs and prevent issues before they arise
Perform repairs
Supervise maintenance tasks performed by team members or contractors, ensuring safety protocols are followed
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts inventory
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in general repairs and troubleshooting
Electrical experience including working with wiring, circuits,
Knowledge of maintenance best practices across various building systems
Leadership skills with experience supervising or guiding team members during maintenance projects
Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration
Customer service orientation with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving
