Overview

Chalk Healthcare, are proud to be partnering with a well-established domiciliary care provider in Derby to recruit an experienced Registered Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation that is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care within the community. If you are a passionate leader with a strong understanding of CQC standards and a proven background in managing care services, we'd love to hear from you.

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, leading the office team, supporting care staff, maintaining excellent care standards, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operation of the domiciliary care service.
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, policies, and best practice.
Lead, support, and develop the office-based team.
Oversee care planning and ensure person-centred care is delivered.
Manage staff rotas and ensure safe staffing levels.
Conduct client assessments and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families.
Monitor service quality and implement improvements where required.
Prepare for and manage CQC inspections and audits.
Identify and resolve operational challenges in a proactive and effective manner.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
Previous management experience within a domiciliary care or care home setting.
A proven track record of improving and maintaining good or outstanding service ratings.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, audits, policies, and procedures.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience managing office-based staff.
Experience overseeing care plans.
Experience managing staff rotas and workforce planning.
A resilient, solution-focused approach with excellent organisational skills.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for client assessments.

What We Offer

Competitive salary of £20.00 per hour, with flexibility depending on experience.
Monday to Friday working pattern with flexible hours available.
28 days' annual leave.
Optional on-call rota with an additional £100 per weekend.
