Full job description

Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE including opportunity to earn £5,000 per annum in bonus!

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm plus overtime option

We are looking for Vehicle Technicians to inspect, diagnose, repair, service and maintain vehicles to a good quality standard as specified by the manufacturers or warranty requirements at our Preparation & Service Centre!

A good knowledge and capability with diagnostics and vehicle electrical systems will be a distinct advantage.

Areas of Responsibility:-

To carry out the company inspection process as detailed on the checklist, noting all areas requiring repair or service on a variety of prestigious vehicles.
To repair vehicle faults as identified either by the checklist or during the repair process.
To use the company system to request parts for vehicles.
To ensure the efficient and effective use of workshop facilities and equipment.
To determine priorities and allocate tasks in liaison with the Supervisor.
To monitor work progress, and pursue a resolution for any issues as necessary.
To advise on best methods of repair and determine repair times in consultation with the Service Manager.
To ensure daily, weekly, monthly targets are met.
To inform the Supervisor on non-conforming vehicles or issues arising.
To communicate with internal teams and departments where necessary.
To be able to undertake a full range of workshop duties.
